You will need a filter. They go for $20 on amazon. Depends on the size and finally you will need glasses. Not just any glasses. Ones that are ISO and CE certified. Go to your nearest planetarium for glasses and ask an eye doctor if the glasses are safe. If you’re having anxiety about using them.
The eclipse starts at 9:05 am. The sun will be covered by the moon by 10:30 or so. Which is safe to view without glasses. You only have 2 to 2 in a half minutes to view. Then, immediately put the glasses back on. So you don’t damage the retinas in your eyes. Ends around 11am or so. So, have fun!
